Interest rates on new credit card offers stayed at record highs this week, according to the CreditCards.com Weekly Credit Card Rate Report.The average annual percentage rate ( APR ) on new card offers remained at 14.94% for the second straight week. Six months after shutting down sales at his longtime homebuilding company, Paul Estridge Jr. has filed for personal bankruptcy.The Chapter 7 liquidation petition, filed Thursday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Indianapolis, lists debts of $50 million to $100 million to more than 50 creditors.Debts come primarily from the homebuilding company that bore the Estridge name.
