Republican Bob Turner stood with his grandchildren in front of the national debt clock in Manhattan Tuesday morning, urging voters to consider America’s $14 trillion debt as the campaign’s most pressing issue.
Saying he didn’t want to saddle his grandchildren with the growing debt, Turner said that he felt voters needed to take a hard look at the spending in Washington.
